Nilmarie (Nil) Gonzalez-ugarte (they/them) is a Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist based in the Central-Texas area. They primarily love to explore culture, identity, and heritage throughout their design and artistic works.

Nilmarie is a recent Texas State University Communication Design graduate. They have worked with multiple museums and cultural centers in Austin, Texas, including the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center, the Elisabet Ney Museum, the Old Bakery and Emporium and the George W. Carver Museum.

Because of their extensive experience designing for museums and cultural centers promoting art and history exhibits, public programs, and city-wide events, and more—Nilmarie's ultimate goal is to serve communities and inspire through design. Their project scope ranges from stickers, postcards and flyers, to large-scale event signage, and event design and campaign production.

> If not at my laptop, I'm probably reading a fantasy novel, playing Rhythm Heaven Groove with my partner, or getting tormented by my half-calico half-orange-tabby cat. I also recently joined a sewing club! I grew up in Austin and a little beyond, so hit me up to talk all things ATX and what the best local bookstores and cafes are :)
