Mexican Cultural Institute of San Antonio Website Redesign
Mexican Cultural Institute of San Antonio Website Redesign
Showcasing the art of Mexico for more than 50 years, the Mexican Cultural Institute in San Antonio – located in Hemisfair – is part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ that seeks to highlight the art and culture of Mexico. The Institute promotes cultural exchange between both nations. Programming boasts vibrant exhibitions, high caliber performances, and engaging public events to promote the cultural heritage of Mexico, illustrate contemporary vitality, and celebrate Mexican traditions.

The Institute, while affiliated with the Mexican Consulate in San Antonio, can often be confused to provide the same services due to it's original website linking to the consulate in a main navigation tab.

This redesign exercise reimagines the Institute's website to be clear in it's distinction between the two entities, the purpose to educate potential visitors, user-friendly navigation, and modernized for current users. Missing previously, the website is also reimagined to translate between Spanish and English effortlessly, to account for Spanish-speaking families looking to benefit from the site's various services, programs, and exhibits or English-speaking visitors looking to learn about the site's services and share with their networks.
