After a series of interviews, surveys, and literature reviews, our team saw that there was a clear sense of anxiety and shame that came with applying to benefits programs and with asking for help for those applications. Most of those surveyed relayed that they had struggled to fil out forms and gave up, or couldn’t find the form they needed in the first place.

People needed a simple, comprehensive way of finding the benefits or services programs available to them and weed out which best suited their needs.
